Our stay at Hawthorn Farm Guest House was exceptional. The room was beautifully furnished with a very comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. They provided a wide selection of teas and coffees in the room. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of cereals, fresh fruit, toast, and a choice of cooked breakfast. The hosts, Paul and Sarah, were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this guest house for a comfortable and homely stay.

The guest house is full of character, with wood panels in the cozy rooms. The bedrooms are decorated with pleasant seaside-themed artwork, creating a calming atmosphere. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The shower/toilet facilities are narrow but cute, with plenty of hot water available. The separate building offers a sense of privacy, and the WiFi works well even in the bedrooms.

There is a musty smell in the rooms that can be off-putting for some guests.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided a fantastic breakfast, catering well for gluten-free and vegetarian guests. The room, although appearing smaller than in the photos, was still spacious and had all the necessary amenities. It was clean and warm, with lovely bedding. The hotel is a beautiful historic property with good parking. a great experience!

The property was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The breakfast options were delicious, with a good variety to choose from. The location was convenient, being close to the town center and easily accessible by taxi.

There were no available rooms for us to return the following week. the room sizes were not suitable for our group, as we had to share rooms with more than two people, which was not ideal for privacy and comfort.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon Hawthorn Farm during my recent stay in Buxton. The property exudes historic charm and character, with cozy rooms adorned with seaside-themed artwork. Despite being close to a main road, my room was incredibly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the shower provided ample hot water. The separate bedroom provided a sense of privacy, and the WiFi worked seamlessly. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious full English spread, including a local Oatcake that was a delightful addition. I highly recommend Hawthorn Farm for a wonderful stay in Buxton.

We stayed at Hawthorn Farm for a weekend getaway and had a wonderful time. The 16th Century farmhouse and surrounding buildings added a unique charm to our stay. Sarah and Paul, the owners, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was amazing, offering a wide variety of fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, and a delicious full English with Derbyshire Oatcake. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with all the necessary amenities. We felt truly welcomed by the hosts and their two adorable dogs, Charlie and Archibald. We highly recommend staying at Hawthorn Farm for a memorable experience.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast offered a delicious variety of choices and the portion sizes were generous. We also loved the convenient location, as it was within walking distance to Buxton and the surrounding area, which was beautiful.

Although the overall experience was great, there were a few minor inconveniences. The bed could have been firmer, and the shower could have had more water pressure.

I recently stayed at Hawthorn Farm Guest House for a few days while exploring the surrounding areas. The couple who runs the place were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast options were fantastic, especially the fresh fruit and full English. The renovated guesthouse beautifully combines comfort and modernity with its historic charm. They even have two adorable dogs that you can ask to pet. This is easily one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed at, anywhere in the world. I highly recommend this place.

    I recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, Paul and Sarah made us feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was a lovely 16th-century farmhouse B&B with modern bathrooms that didn't take away from the house's unique character. The location was perfect - quiet, yet still close to the town center. We will definitely stay here again.

    Can recommend this hotel.
